Everyone was very grateful for the tips that were on hand from Rob Brightman the resident Pro at the club during the morning events, these included competitions for the longest drive, best putter, and a short distance chipping team event.  

Congratulations to all of the day’s winners, including Darren Ward from Warehouse MK Ltd for the best stableford score from the afternoon round, runner up was Pat Chard from Murrays Printers in Milton Keynes.  

Thanks to both the club, and especially the generosity of our clients that enabled us to raise money for the excellent Hospice. 

A great day was had by all and we look forward to organising the 2^nd annual event in 2011.

We would also like to welcome 2 new members of the support team at Mirus.

Firstly we have Tom Cutting who will be joining our ever busier workshop, helping with hardware preparation for new projects, repairs and maintenance on client machines.

We also have Dale Maddocks who has joined our Service Desk. Dale is well versed in the SME market and will be helping the Mirus team to support our clients on a day to day basis.

We welcome all our new starters and are very proud of our ever expanding team.

Lee Chambers thought it appropriate to dress for the occasion whilst working hard on the Service Desk today (see pictures). The team can’t wait until they can watch the long awaited A-Team movie and no doubt there will be some funny quotes being shouted about the office for a while such as “I ain’t getting on no plane” and “I love it when a plan comes together”, not to mention colleagues calling each other “fool!”. The Office Mascot BatSheep also got involved in the photos today, see if you can spot him!

The talks focus on Mirus’ proactive approach to support, including ways in which they handle some of the day to day technical issues with the latest support technology. Paul also talks about Service Addiction and how Mirus are constantly trying to improve the service they offer to their customers.
