Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Mirus Team in Milton Keynes and provide support to one of our many clients.

To manage specific project delivery ensuring customer requirements are met and ensuring consistency with the company strategy and vision and goals.

Requirements

You would be working with key stakeholders and business units to:

  • Facilitate Project Kick Off’s, Whiteboarding Sessions. Document Minutes and Actions;
  • Own customer communications both verbally and written – ensure these are timely and in line with customer expectation;
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects so they are delivered on time and on budget;
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables with the project engineer;
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements;
  • Assist in the development of project plans;
  • Plan project timelines;
  • Scheduling and allocation of project resource;
  • Track project deliverables using ConnectWise;
  • Project quality assurance (including random auditing of current and completed projects);
  • Own the reporting on progress of the projects to all stakeholders internally and externally ;
  • Present reports defining project progress, issues/risks and solutions;
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results;
  • Own the formal closure of all projects;

Required knowledge and Experience in:

  • Experience of managing small/medium scale projects
  • Working as part of a wider service delivery function.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification (Current)
  • Experience of working within a PRINCE2 and/or Agile methodology
  • Experience in risk and change management

  • Able to work both within a team and using own initiative.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite incl. Visio and Project
  • Proficiency in ConnectWise
  • Demonstrated understanding of full life cycle project management
  • Proven ability to lead and influence projects involving cross-departmental teams
  • Creative, analytical problem solver with the ability to apply original and innovative thinking
