/ MoreWhen Mirus IT founder Paul Tomlinson created the company at its humble base in Milton Keynes back in 2002, he’d already headed up a small IT firm and had almost 10 years of IT experience, having worked as an engineer since he was 16.
Things quickly started to take off and Paul focused his efforts on bringing in new business, leaving much of the technical matters to his new team.
He was rewarded with several business wins and, with the help of referrals from clients such as HSBC, Mirus was soon expanding further and even acquiring other companies.
Not long after that, Paul had a new vision – to become one of the most trusted managed services providers around. And it wasn’t long until the company was being named in the top 25% of Global Managed Service Providers by MSPmentor, one of the most distinguished lists in the industry.
Since then, the team at Mirus has won countless awards, employed over 100 people, and is helping more than 250 leading organisations and educational establishments take their technology to the next level.
While Paul left Mirus in 2019 to pursue the next stage of his career, he didn’t do so without seeing Mirus through one of its most exciting and transformative eras to date.
We’re delighted to have joined the Advania group of companies, alongside Perspective Risk and digital workspace product Fresh Intranet. We’re equally delighted to have recently welcomed Sol-Tec to the group, bringing the market leader in Azure migration services to the public and private sectors, into our ranks.
As part of Advania, Mirus still retains its identity and continues to operate as the group’s Centre of Excellence for IT Managed Services for small and medium-sized businesses.
