It’s Official – Mirus IT Solutions is now Advania

Mirus IT Solutions is now officially operating under the Advania name, fully aligning with the wider Advania UK business. While the name is changing, the experience our clients rely on will not.

“Our name may be different, but our people, our service, and our commitment to our clients are not,” says Dan Sharp, Managing Director at Mirus IT Solutions.

Although the name change is new, the relationship between Mirus and Advania is not. Mirus has been part of the Advania group for more than five years, operating throughout that time with the same people, and the same focus on delivering quality IT support to businesses across the UK.

Moving to the Advania name helps better represent the wider organisation that already underpins the Mirus team. Clients will continue to work with the same individuals they know, while benefiting from the scale and resources of a larger UK technology group.

“Although this may feel like a change, operationally we’ve already been working as part of the Advania group for some time,” Dan continues. “This alignment simply makes that relationship clearer and helps clients understand the broader expertise available to them, when they need it.”

Advania operates nationwide, providing cloud services, cybersecurity, modern workplace solutions, data and AI, infrastructure, and managed IT services. These capabilities sit alongside the existing Mirus offering, strengthening support where additional expertise or capacity is required.

The Advania name will be introduced from 16 February 2026. As part of the transition, clients will notice updated branding on communications, email addresses, and invoices. There will be no changes to existing contracts, pricing, service levels, or regular contacts.

“Our clients will still be speaking to the same people and receiving the same level of service,” Dan adds. “What’s changing is simply the name above the door, backed by a larger organisation built for long-term support.”
