Mirus IT wins two prestigious Business Awards

Mirus IT wins two prestigious Business Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that we won not one, but two gold awards at the SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards last week including the prestigious title of ‘Overall Winner’!

We’re continuously growing our services, our customers and our team, so we’re immensely proud to have taken home gold for High Growth Business of the Year too.

We were up against some impressive competition, so we extend huge congratulations to our incredible team for bringing it home.

Our Business Director, Dan Sharp said, “We’d like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to our customers for trusting us with their IT, communication and print needs, and to the SME Business Awards MK and Buckinghamshire for an excellent evening.”

Gold Award for High Growth Business

We’re growing and it’s a trend we plan to continue. How? By continually putting people first. Our customers and our team are absolutely central to our growth and success.

Our dedicated teams of engineers, client managers, and customer success managers work closely with all our clients to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.

They’re the bedrock of our success. That’s why we invest in them, taking on 20 new colleagues in the last year and focusing on skill development with our existing staff.

Listening to our customers and understanding their needs is an integral part of our business strategy. For example, by identifying the escalating demand for digital transformation, driven by the shift towards remote work and the increasing cyber threat landscape, we’ve expanded our service offerings.

We’ve incorporated cutting-edge technologies such as AI, cloud computing and cybersecurity enhancements tailored specifically for SMEs.

Adapting to the changing nature of our customers’ needs and reflecting new working habits since Covid, we’ve recently set up a 24/7 IT support desk based in South Africa. As a result, the dedicated team are on hand around-the-clock supporting our customers across different time zones and regions.

We’ve also developed an advanced cybersecurity system called EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) to respond to the challenge nature of IT security threats facing all SMEs.

Business of the Year Award

It’s humbling, yet truly wonderful, to be recognised for the work we care so passionately about. We’re extremely diligent in implementing exceptional IT solutions for SMEs in our local area, and solutions that are ideal for each client.

But it doesn’t end there. We build meaningful, ongoing customer relationships providing them with exemplary service for the long term.

So, where to next for Mirus IT?

We’ll be offering more IT solutions and products from AI, automation, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation or whatever technology may be around the corner.

We’re currently working on an automation tool for our service desk which will streamline workflows and processes. That’ll free up our people to spend more time delivering a personalised experience. That’s a win-win solution for our team and our customers.

We plan to introduce a new cloud-based intranet with AI capabilities, as well as a cloud-based phone system that integrates with Microsoft Teams. These will be hugely impactful for our current and future customers.

It’s all about you

With ‘never lose a customer’ as our motto, we pride ourselves in not just delivering a project, but always going the extra mile. We’re not just an IT service provider, but a trusted partner and advisor for our customers.

We prioritise and nurture our customer relationships, some of them for over a decade, and are proud of our 96% customer retention rate. You can see that our customer-first ethos and exemplary service is at the heart of everything we do.

We don’t believe in a cookie cutter approach to our projects. Each customer is different with unique needs, and we’ll provide the solution that’s best for them. We’re flexible and adaptable to circumstances and budget. For example, we’ll upskill your people or offer favourable payment terms if budgets are tight.

Alongside quarterly meetings, service reviews, and newsletters, we organise events such as ‘Lunch and Learns’ and ‘Knowledge Academies’, where we invite industry experts to share their insights and best practices with our clients.

With a culture of continuous improvement, we’re always looking for new ways to enhance our services and products to benefit our customers.
